Stephanie Cicala - Campus President
Stephanie Cicala currently serves as the Campus President at Combine Academy, where she is dedicated to cultivating a culture of academic excellence, leadership, and personal growth.
A Northern Virginia native, Stephanie relocated to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area after spending ten years teaching English and Language Arts at both the middle and high school levels in Fairfax County Public Schools and Prince William County Schools. Since moving to North Carolina, she has served in a variety of educational settings before finding her professional home at Combine Academy in the fall of 2023. At Combine Academy, Stephanie has taught a variety of English courses, including AP Language and Composition and Creative Writing, for example. Her passion for education and commitment to student success led her to accept the role of Head of School in June 2024. In June 2026, as she entered her 18th year in education, she transitioned into the position of Campus President.
Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Virginia Tech and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Development from George Mason University. Outside of the classroom, she has also served as a soccer coach and personal trainer, experiences that have allowed her to support academics, athletics, and character development. Stephanie is passionate about helping young people discover their potential and become the best versions of themselves. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, or through campus leadership, she is committed to creating an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to excel.
Stephanie resides in Newton, North Carolina, with her husband and their two daughters.
