Missy Ciccarelli - Social Science

Mrs. Ciccarelli is a Social Studies teacher with 32 years of experience in education. Before joining Combine Academy, she spent 31 years teaching in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She has a BS in History from Appalachian State University, a master’s degree from Winthrop University, and is a National Board-certified educator.

With a passion for helping students connect the past to the world they live in today, Mrs. Ciccarelli is committed to creating a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and active learning. Mrs. Ciccarelli resides in Belmont, North Carolina, is an avid reader, and enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her three sons.
