Alec Jones - Head Coach Elite Team

Alec Jones joined Combine Academy in 2023 as an assistant coach and is entering his fourth year on staff and his third year as a Head Coach, continuing his commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.

 

Born and raised in Hempstead, New York, Alec began his collegiate playing career at SUNY Fredonia, where he competed in Division III basketball in 2020 before transferring to Johnson C. Smith University. While at JCSU, he served as a team manager for the men’s basketball program and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree.

 

Through his experiences as a player, team manager, trainer, and coach at multiple levels, Alec has developed a passion for player development, relationship building, and preparing athletes for the next level. He believes in creating an environment built on discipline, confidence, accountability, and consistent growth, while helping each student-athlete understand and maximize their individual potential.

 

Alec is grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with Combine Academy and to play a role in the development of its student-athletes. As he enters his fourth year on staff, he looks forward to continuing to help athletes compete at a high level, pursue their goals, and prepare for success both on the court and beyond.
