Anderson Bynum - Basketball Coach - High School

Anderson Bynum is a North Carolina-based scholastic basketball head coach, scheduling director, and college placement coordinator. Entering his fourth year at Combine Academy, he brings 18 years of coaching experience that blends on-court tactical leadership with extensive logistical expertise.

During the 2025–2026 season, he led the Combine Select team to the Phenom Hoops Prep Division National Championship, adding to a long track record of title-winning success at both the high school and collegiate levels. His comprehensive approach to program management spans the full spectrum of basketball operations, from leading daily film reviews and practice planning to coordinating complex national travel circuits.

A dedicated college placement coordinator, Coach Bynum has directly helped secure roster spots at two- and four-year institutions for over 125 student-athletes. His deep expertise in administration, scheduling, and player development is rooted in a strong foundation of past leadership roles. This includes serving as an Associate Athletic Director at both the high school and collegiate levels, working on staff at NCAA Division I North Carolina Central University under head coach Levelle Moton, and coaching alongside National Champion Larry Davis.

Additionally, Coach Bynum serves as the Conference Commissioner of the Queen City Independent Conference and works tirelessly to expand local youth basketball opportunities for the community surrounding Combine Academy.
