Coach Don Showalter:
USA Basketball Director of Youth Development
Coach Don Showalter’s remarkable coaching career began as the head coach at Lone Tree Community School in Iowa. Over the span of 40 years, he built a legacy at several successful high school programs, developing numerous college-level and NBA players and establishing himself as a true basketball legend.
Throughout his career, Coach Showalter’s expertise and leadership were recognized on prestigious stages, including coaching in the McDonald’s High School All-America Game and the Jordan Brand Classic All-Star Games.
In May 2016, Showalter transitioned to the role of USA Basketball Youth & Sport Development Coach Director. He is a 10-time USA Basketball gold medalist head coach, having led the USA Men’s U16 and U17 National Teams from 2009 to 2022. His tenure was marked by an unbroken streak of gold medals and the development of some of the nation’s top young players.
Coach Showalter’s leadership has earned him numerous accolades, including being named co-recipient of the 2018 USA Basketball Developmental Coach of the Year and the U.S. Olympic Committee’s 2012 Volunteer Coach of the Year.

Our Showcase provides participants with a comprehensive suite of Athlete Media Assets to help promote their skills and performance to scouts, coaches, and recruiters. These assets ensure you receive maximum exposure and valuable insights to advance your athletic career.
Live-Streamed Games; Professional Photos and Scouting Feedback are provided to elevate your visibility and give you the tools to effectively promote your athletic career to the next level.

Event Registration Process:
- Limited spots are available for girls and boys ages 12-22.
- By submitting your application on this website, you’re securing your spot. To confirm your place, please complete your registration and pay a 50% deposit of $300 AUD.
- Your spot in the event will only be fully confirmed once we’ve received your deposit or full payment.
- The remaining balance can be paid on Day 1 of the showcase, either by cash or card.
- Please note that any delays in payment could result in your spot being given to another applicant. We encourage you to complete your payment as soon as possible to ensure your place.
Refund Policy:
- NO REFUND will be provided if a participant does not attend the event. However, if we are informed at least 15 days before the event, a partial or full refund may be considered based on the circumstances.
