Dre Gleason - Hitting Coordinator/Assistant Coach - National High School

Dre is born and raised in St. Louis Missouri where he attended Fort Zumwalt North High School and played travel ball with the St. Louis Pirates. He continued his playing career at Austin Peay State University playing first base and being a four year starter. During his time attending Austin Peay he achieved different accomplishments consisting of being a freshman All American, conference athlete of the week multiple times throughout his career, NCAA player of the day, named to the Golden Spikes list, and was named Austin Peay’s athlete of the year in 2017.

Dre finished his career at Austin Peay finishing top ten all time in school history for home runs, slugging percentage, RBIs, and hits. After his time at Austin Peay Dre went on to play a year and a half professionally in the American Association league for the Sioux City Explorers before deciding to hang up the cleats. Since his playing career ended Dre has been active with the game giving private lessons and coaching.
