Edwin Corniel Biography

Edwin Corniel joined Combine Academy in July 2022 as the Global Head Coach. The New York City Harlem native attended, played baseball and received his degrees at Odessa College and Stony Brook University. Corniel began his coaching career in summer 2015 as an assistant coach at Dominican Federation Baseball Collegiate League in New York until he was promoted to Head Coach in 2018. Followed by a couple of stints at the high school and summer ball level. Corniel previously coached at Community Health Academy of the Heights, George Washington HS, and Columbia Prep. He collected accolades while playing the game. PSAL City Champion (2011), 2x NJCAA Region 5 All-Conference, America East Champion (2015). Corniel currently resides in Lincolnton, NC.
