Coach Ken McDonald
Coach Ken McDonald’s career began as an assistant Coach at Clemson University. McDonald then spent the following 18 years at the collegiate level with stops at Western Kentucky, Georgia, and Texas, as an assistant coach before returning to Western Kentucky University as the Head Coach from 2008 to 2012.
Following his collegiate experience Coach joined the NBA ranks serving as the assistant of the San Antonio Spurs G-League team under current Memphis Grizzlies head coach, Taylor Jenkins. McDonald then was promoted to head coach where he remained at the helm of the Austin Spurs for four seasons.
Following his NBA experience, Coach McDonald embraced a number of different roles internationally, including a scouting role with Team USA during the Americup in 2017 and the FIBA World Cup in Beijing in 2019.
Coach Ken McDonald brings a wealth of experience both on U.S. soil and internationally and is a great addition to the Combine Academy staff as a senior level coach at the Combine Academy Elite Global Showcases.

Live-Streamed Games; Professional Photos and Scouting Feedback are provided to elevate your visibility and give you the tools to effectively promote your athletic career to the next level.
Event Registration Process:
Limited spots are available for boys and girls ages 13-19.
Your spot in the event will only be fully confirmed once we’ve received your full payment.
Please note that any delays in payment could result in your spot being given to another applicant. We encourage you to complete your payment as soon as possible to ensure your place.
Boarding and Meals:
One meal per day will be included in the cost of the camp. Students are invited to bring snacks and a reusable water bottle for both days.
Refund Policy:
- NO REFUND will be provided if a participant does not attend the event. However, if we are informed at least 15 days before the event, a partial or full refund may be considered based on the circumstances.
