Lincolnton Wolves’ Kris Robinson Commits to Combine Academy

CHARLOTTE, NC., July 3, 2019: Combine Enterprises, LLC – Combine Academy, International Boarding School and Sports Performance Center located just outside of Charlotte, NC is pleased to announce the fall commit of Lincolnton Wolves’ star player Kris Robinson.

Robinson had a successful season averaging 29.4 points a game which lead to him receiving the South Fork 2A Conference player of the Year Award. He accomplished this all while maintaining a 3.5 grade point average during the school year.

In a recent interview, Robinson expressed how excited he is to be reunited with his Team Charlotte AAU coach Jeff McInnis. “Kris is a great shooter,” McInnis said, “and he’s underrated at getting to the basket. He’s a local guy. He’s right here in our backyard, so why not. The sky’s the limit for Kris.” McInnis was just recently signed as a head basketball coach for Combine Academy and is looking forward to working with Robinson on the court.

“I’m ready to work on my weaknesses and turn them into strengths to prepare me for the college level,” Robinson said in a recent interview with Combine Academy President, Jonah Baize. Baize is impressed at how knowledgeable Robinson is on and off the court and looks forward to seeing him grow as a player here at Combine Academy.
