Kyle Yelin - Associate Director of Soccer Coaching/Head Coach Royal Team
Combine Academy is thrilled to announce coach Kyle Yelin as the Head Coach for the UPSL Prep Men’s Royal team, and Associate Director of Soccer. Bob Reasso, Combine’s Executive Director of Soccer, made the announcement.

He is intelligent and has an excellent grasp of soccer tactics, along with a desire to learn and deepen his understanding of the game. He is articulate and personable; qualities needed to build and mentor a competitive team and grow our program”.
Kyle Yelin is a veteran soccer coach with more than 15 years of experience across professional, collegiate, preparatory school, and elite academy environments. His coaching background includes experience with the MLS New England Revolution Academy, collegiate programs, New England Preparatory School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC), and MLS NEXT Academies.

Having been here almost a month, it is clear the standard of excellence, and level of players being recruited and developed, and competition we play against- is a complete advantage. Most recently, he led programs at the MLS Next level in CT, while serving as Vale Soccer Clubs’ Residential Academy Director and U19 Head Coach – as well as Director of MLS Next Academy Division and Head Coach of U19, U17 Boys at Oakwood Soccer Club.
Prior to that – Yelin was instrumental in development of soccer at Mount Saint Charles Academy, serving as Director of Soccer and Coach, while helping establish the school’s soccer program in the NEPSAC. In their first season in the NEPSAC in 2024, the boys program went 14-4-3 and advanced to the NEPSAC Class B Final Four – producing two All-NEPSAC 1st team, and two 2nd-team selections in 2024. He also led the Boys Soccer program at The Winchendon School in Massachussets in 2022.
Earlier in his career, Yelin served as Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Fisher College in Boston, MA. His first season produced a Men’s Soccer record-breaking 10-5-2 record, with multiple statistical records, and conference leading point scorer in 2019. He would go on to have back to back winning seasons in his tenure from 2019-2021. He holds a collegiate head coaching record of 19-10-2.
Yelin’s NCAA coaching background also includes Endicott College, serving as an Assistant Coach with one of New England’s premier NCAA Division III soccer programs. During his time with Endicott, the program won the 2016 CCC Regular season with (8-1) conference record, 12-5-3 overall, and defeated 2016 NCAA National Champions Tufts University, 1-0 in regular season play.
Yelin began his coaching career with the New England Revolution Academy, spending nearly five years within the MLS organization from 2013 to 2017.
The Southwick, MA native played four seasons as an NCAA Division III player at Westfield State University (‘12); captaining in 2011, 2012 – tallying a total of 16 goals, 8 assists from center midfield.
