Lucy Lepeley - Foreign Language Teacher
Lucy holds a B.A. in Law and Political Sciences from Santo Tomás de Aquino University in Bogotá, Colombia, and is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her professional journey includes teaching at prestigious institutions such as South Lake Christian Academy and Metrolina Scholars Academy Charter School, where she developed and implemented comprehensive language curricula.
As the founder and director of Lepeley Academy of Languages, Lucy has been instrumental in designing after-school programs that enrich students’ learning experiences across various subjects, including Spanish, French, Music, and Art. She also played a key role as the Vice President of Public Relations for the Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Silicon Valley, where she led communications strategies to enhance the organization’s visibility and membership.
Lucy’s dedication to education is complemented by her extensive volunteer work, including ESL instruction for Hispanic congregations.Her professional development includes leadership training at Berkeley University, certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the UK, and advanced training with Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Currently residing in Charlotte, NC, Lucy continues to inspire and empower others through her teaching and community involvement, driven by a passion for serving others and a deep commitment to fostering educational excellence.
