Rosalie Ellis

Rosalie Ellis - Head of School

As Head of School, Rosalie Ellis leads Combine Academy’s academic program, including instructional oversight, course planning, program development, and student success initiatives. She also oversees the postgraduate program, emphasizing life readiness and the foundational research, literacy, and academic skills needed for success in college and beyond. In addition to these leadership responsibilities, she teaches AP Psychology, one of her favorite subjects!

With over a decade of experience in education, Rosalie brings a broad yet specialized perspective to Combine’s academic program. She holds a B.S. in Psychology, a Master of Education, and is licensed to practice educational therapy for students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences. She is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Education at Regent University, where she is studying Educational Psychology.

Recognizing that many students and families thrive outside the traditional system, she is passionate about helping others better understand the factors that influence student success and adapting programs to meet their needs. She is particularly interested in individualized learning opportunities for students at Combine, and helping them develop the executive skills necessary to manage academics, navigate challenges, and become increasingly confident and independent.

Rosalie is equally passionate about helping fellow educators understand the complexities of learning differences, behavior, executive skill dysfunction, and how these factors can influence a student’s and teacher’s experience. Her work is grounded in the belief that understanding how students learn, think, and develop is essential to creating educational environments in which they can thrive.
