Sam Pipes Biography

Entering his seventh season at Combine Academy, Coach Sam Pipes is Head of Player Development and has served as Assistant Coach for National Basketball since 2024. Formerly a part of Combine’s Post Grad program, Coach Pipes has worked with nearly every player who has stepped foot on the Lincolnton campus since 2020, with numerous players advancing to the collegiate level.

Along with high school athletes at Combine, Coach Pipes also heads player development for Seros Partners, with professional and college clientele. A native of Seattle, Washington, Sam is an alumnus of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where he received a Bachelor’s and a Master’s from the School of Education.
